In the post internet revolution period, data center and cloud technologies were powered by five visions: Virtualization from VMware, Hyperscale from Amazon, Hyperconvergence from Nutanix, Accelerated Computing from Nvidia, and Artificial Intelligence of an extreme scale by OpenAI. Analytics underwent a colorful metamorphosis from data processing to boosting the thrusters on I/O, Information, Intelligence, and now going onto Intuition. Petabytes are long gone – the challenge is taming the exascale and zettascale computing. The public clouds fostered nomadic computing which further pushed the envelop with requirements for cloud neutrality and ubiquitous presence and processing of application and data. Adding to all the above, modern computing has zero compromise for latency or throughput of data – be it from storage, network, or applications.
Dynavisor Inc, a stealth mode Silicon Valley startup, founded in 2012, originated a disruptive I/O virtualization technology (DIOV) to solve this paradox.
